The drive utilizes the patented H&S 2-speed gearbox. Shifting is all done in the enclosed two speed/beater shutoff gearbox. A heavy-duty beater assembly ensures aggressive shredding action with wide and even spread patterns. Spreader box sides are constructed of powder-coated steel. Special cast steel alloy apron idler slides are used instead of idler sprockets
- making for years of dependable service. Adjustment for the main apron is easily made by simply loosening the two side bolts and drawing up the long bolt.
